Went back to Louie today. A bit of a high pressure day, but not quite as hot.
Started off at the best spot from last trip. Lots of 5-6” fish, but a few nice ones, and one solid twelve incher!! Tried some other spots in the same area, and caught a few more. Went back to the first spot and caught a few more. Then I went searching for some old spots that used to have trees sticking out of the water, but now are hidden. Couldn’t locate them, but found a big laydown with a few crappie on it. Ended up catching 25-30, with half of them being less than 6 inches long. Guess they had a good spawn! Still have fish from last trip, so I released all of the fish today.
Same 1/16 oz white head, silver flash chenille, red flashabou and white feather tail. Silver, gold, or red nibble.
