JUST WOW is all I got to say about my crappie.com ballcap !

Dropped my jig down , set the hook and just like that POW goes my line ! :banghead

She said I might need to borrow your lucky ballcap for a second ......

As I tied on a new jig I hear , it's a BIG one from my spot on the dock she commandeered ....long word I know .....:popcorn

Well just low and behold she has a giant on ....
I looked over and said ....HOLY %@&! best get it out of the water right now !
that thing will for sure get away if you blink ....
rather long story short , it MIGHT have been that there good luck crappie.com ballcap .....:dono
she used a pink and white tube plastic on her purple jig head and one of those there $ 9.98 Zebco combos and to be very sure .....
ketched her PB white crappie ! :cheers2
we measured it and set it free ....17.5 inches of man is that a dandy summertime white crappie fish specimen .....and....
just WOW what a jim dandy ballcap ....no boat or ffs required ....:crazy:

AND it was the second time something broke me off in that spot , of course we jacked about 6 or 7 that size out of that spot and who knows who was who for sure and then .....
A big ole bucket mouth black bass came along too on the other side of the walkway ......
it for sure was NOT the day to show up with my 4 lb mono and just play with them ....:banghead
one thing for certain , we sure did hammer us some big fish ....thats a fact my friend :cheers2

That slab is huge and it certainly looks like a bass at first glance, had to do a double take on that one. Bigger than most of the bass I've caught this year too. Was your jig that you lost still in it's mouth? If not you might have had a school of giants swim through and it wasn't the same one. That one deserves to have a replica mount made, look at the mouth on that fish, it's huge!!

No jig in it’s mouth or any sign of ever being hooked , the dock had a high number of really large crappie under it that day and lately it is that way ,and VERY lethargic, right on the bottom to get a bite and NEVER know you have a bite till you try to move your jig :highfive
