This one is different....

Guys, I haven't been around as much this last month. But, I wanted to say Happy Father's Day to you all. I had a great day yesterday. The kids and grandkids all showed up and cooked for me. This year is just different and has been a struggle, as I lost my dad on May 23rd. He lived a good life, worked hard and loved his family. I'm in a good spot and as always try to put a glass half full spin on it. Dad had a tough couple of years and he's not suffering anymore. So if you still have your dad, give him a hug and tell him you love him. I always tell the kids your Daddy is the one guy that will always want better and for you to have better life than he had.

Thanks for those kind words. I know loosing your Dad so recently has to be a tough pill to swallow. I still have my Dad with me. He's 92 years young now and we see each other pretty regularly these days. I know he wont live forever and I want no regrets when he is no longer here on this earth. My Dad is soooo proud of all our family as we all turned out alright and none of us ever had to live as poor as he did back in his young years. He's a proud man and Im very proud of him.:)

I lost my father in 2017 and still think of him daily. My condolences to you. It’s tough losing your dad. Think I’ll go tell my daughters what you said now. Thanks and Happy Father’s Day.

been about 20 years ago when my dad went to the great beyond , thought it was kinda sad yesterday that I didn't have one to celebrate with , he was a rather rough/tough dad and we did not see eye to eye on lots of things , but I still miss him to this day.
