Yep .... that's pretty much the ratio I've seen over the last couple of decades .... even back when the size limit was 9" :biggrin
I've fished the lake since it opened & I think I've only had a limit of keeper Crappie ... maybe three times ... and none of those times occurred since the 10" size limit in 2018. Best limit/weight I've ever had at Taylorsville was 15 fish that weighed 10lbs total (3/4lb avg) and all but maybe 2 of that limit were caught in one spot. Cold, windy Spring day off a small rootwad just inside a wind swept point was where most of the fish came from. The whole mess were weighed on a meat scale at my Mom's house (and probably the only time I've ever weighed my fish).

The future looks bright. Majority of fish 9”-9 3/4 fish. Never a dull moment would be perfect for kids to keep them busy.Quote:
