Funny thing is that I was pulling cranks for the first time this weekend and don't recall the "livescope" jig fishers catching anything, and I really didn't use mine but a couple of times to look back and confirm something that I saw on 2D and Side imaging on one of my passes of an area. I'm liking this method to take the kids and guests out on hot summer mornings.
Anyone use hi vis yellow braid pulling cranks?? Wonder if the cranks can still get down to depth ok without added weight.
According to the Precision Trolling app, the same size braid can get deeper with the same amount of live vs mono when I looked up Bandit 300. Of course, running thicker of either one varies the calculation. With that being said, I’m using Hi-Vis mono only because I’m a beginner pulling cranks.
