It's Officially HOT!
Other than the occasional "itch" I'm officially through fishing until cooler weather gets here. It's always fun fishing but that fun runs out when you begin sweating in the boat. By the time I get loaded up to head home I'm changing shirts so I can lean back in my truck seat. Besides, I got plenty to keep me busy since Ive neglected things around here all winter and spring long.:(
Yea, yea! I know I'm spoiled to the AC but that's OK by me too.;):)

I just change my fishing times from 3am until 8am. Nobody’s on the water on my lake at 3am. Sunrise is when the bass boys jam up the ramp, 8am ramp is empty again until about 9 to 10 when the big boats and jet skis jam it up again. Fish bite better for me early morning when it’s hot

Been hot here as well but as long as the AC is running and our ceiling fans too, I'm ok. :biggrin

Never thought I would be a cool to cold weather fishing guy. Grew up fishing in the summer and still do when I can. Like others said I have changed my operating hours to a more temperate and comfortable time of day. Summer is more of get some needed chores done now-a-days, keeps the wifey in a better mood. :hatchet: :Rofl. Good time for needed boat and trailer maintenance also. Seems my trailer needs new legs :yikes.
Retirement is code for more work than expected :Rofl
Fish on my friends when you can! :fish

Only 14 more Saturdays until bow season opens. Lots to get done around the house, out at Dad's, and around the deer food plots. The "urge" will overwhelm me and I will HAVE to go fishing every now and then but that heat will remind me why I like staying caught up on things so I can sit around and enjoy that AC with the wife. You guys stay hydrated and enjoy the trips you make to the lake.;):)

(Retirement is code for more work than expected...)
I'll second that statement. Ever since I had to climb out of the Big truck and Medically retire, the other half has found more and more for me to do, and less for her to do...and fishing ain't on my list of things to do...just sayin'
