Good article. Thanks Buckeye
Great read for sure Buckeye. Lots of info one seldom thinks of. Thank you for sharing.
Interesting article. Thanks
Bob
Fun Read on the article but my method of a slow rise then fast drop makes them bite when the dead stick won't. This is what I teach, it's on the video I made and what I taught Bon Temps. Hammered them today with it. I dead stick on the first lowering of the jig always. If a aggressive Crappie is near it will rise out of the pack to be the first one to eat or is it "first one to Be Eaten"? I don't look at where a fish is and drop a bait to them. I fish like a fish is in every likely looking spot. I don't have to watch a screen that way, kind of a pure way of fishing. I know others love the screen, not being critical, just saying how I like to fish.
Interesting
some of it is for sure fact , some of it is also not always true , crappie do NOT always run from a jigged jig , this part is something not mentioned , there are times they will rush a jigged jig and hammer it without a second thought .....
we jig our jigs quite often , but it is the how to jig your jig that counts , it must be subtle most of the time with an occasional serious jig in the mix and to be VERY sure ,there are times they will try to rip the rod out of your hand when you do this ....
in private waters from the bank a dead still jig will get about zero bites , it MUST be traveling and often times needs to be jigged while traveling ......that's a for sure fact from the stuck on the bank fella ....just saying
Good read. Thanks for posting.
