State record is 4 lb 11 oz.
At my age I aint one that has continued mounting things but that one FOR SURE would go on my wall.:yikes I wouldnt mount a 3 lber (if I ever catch one) but I would make a nice 8 X 10 of it though.

Back in march Lake Monroe gave up a new state record smallmouth bass 8.23 lbs. Over the past 50 plus years, I have caught good numbers and large fish out of Monroe. Right now, with the lake up due to the rains, I would be hammering the flooded bushes and timber near creek channels and possible spawning areas.
Didn't know we had that big of crappie here in Indiana. That would have had to go on my wall. Just sayin
