Today's Lunch (3pm)
A friend stopped with too much zucchini on his hands and I caught 6 Crappie a week ago. 2 were 4-5 inches at best but I hooked them both in the gills so they got cleaned and ate. Numerous shorts were caught so I quit after killing the 2 and came in. My 3 year old Bell Pepper plants are already giving up perfect frying peppers and Rally's fries cooked @ 400 degrees in the air fryer are ever popular here. The two of us fed till refusal, little was left.

I like to reward myself sometimes after a job I really didn't have it in me to accomplish like the one today.

No the Air Fryer was used on the Fries only. It really pulls out the excess oil in frozen French fries. When I remodeled the kitchen here (the remodel was for me not my bride) I wired the Island for a 220V Commercial 15# Fryer (15#'s means it holds 15#'s of Lard). Just the way commercial fryers are sized. So I can run both commercial fryers a 110V & the 220V at the same time for production cooking on the Island. The 15# unit is a dual basket, it was used for all the deep frying. I ran the Warming Drawer fairly warm, ran the Bell Peppers first then Crappie fillets, finally Zucchini because it will become mush if left in the warmer too long.
