Zman bringing the action once again yesterday for me coming through with a couple nice catches towards the end of my trip.
Started my morning with high hopes of my first full stringer for the year but weather conditions and water levels were not in my favor so I had to fish hard to find them with the trusted Bobby Garland brand bringing in a few early morning bites nothing seemed to bring the THUMP with any consistency. With time slipping fast I decided to make a change and try the Zman Baby Ballerz in bumblebee color.

It’s hard for me to change from the tried and true that has always produced fish for me but then again I decided to do some pioneering with something new and I’m glad I did! First shot under a pontoon and THUMP big crappie on! It was a good fight barely hooked when netting it. At that point my confidence in Zman products for crappie have been solidified no doubt. I recommend anyone thinking of trying these to go for it.

In closing I finished my day out with 9 keeper to bring home for the pan not the stringer I had hoped for but a blessing no doubt. 2 biggest of the day 1 white and the other a black crappie. I lost 2 the size of the black crappie definitely some hard losses but the paper mouth has a way of doing that sometimes. Thanks for reading and be blessed!
