Got another tube from Digitaka today. This rod will not be that impressive to the heavy hitters in the JDM world, but for me, this thing is a work of art, and the epitome of what I want in an UL rod. Of course the irony to that is, it's a light action lol. This is the Palms Pinwheel 5'6" light action extra fast. I absolutely cannot wait to take it out for a trip.

Congrats. I own a Palms Egeria XUL. It is the old model, lot of fun to fish. The aesthetics are amazing on it.

I will certainly do that. I'm hoping to go tomorrow or Thursday. It was only slightly more expensive than the Aji-Do and seems to be very similar in regards to guides, and the finish of the blank itself. The reel seat however is different than I have ever seen. it has an a texture to it that is very hard to describe and very subtle. It is not the traditional hard plastic and seems to have a very light EVA\silicone\rubber type feel. I like it very much. The fit and finish as well as the aesthetics of the seat and butt cap are are very nice as well. I can't tell if that is real wood or not but it looks beautiful in my eyes.Quote:
