That’s a whole lotta work. It was saturated with water.
Slab, I need to give you some advice on Cap storage. You must support the cap everywhere. One sunny day and it will sag making it a real pain, especially how y'all are having to work, to align the cap back the way it came off. They will twist, bow, sag in just one area, etc. Support it everywhere. I keep a bunch of old tires in the shop and frame up supports to the rim of the cap. I'm not seeing near enough in your video. Not trying to be dramatic here, I have already made the mistakes myself.

That foam does not belong sprayed in a boat IMHO. It just traps water, and yep, there's gonna be water!!!
