Coming down to FL for a 10 day trip in early February to target crappie. Prefer to stay North of Orlando, but want to find some slabs! Have fished Woodruff and George before with some success. Plan on hitting 2-3 lakes on the trip. Thanks in advance!

Anything on the St Johns is usually good. I'm on the Harris Chain, specifically Lake Griffin, and they've been catching them here. But like I said, the lakes along the St Johns are usually awesome and produce bigger ones than the Harris Chain (at lease for as long as I've been down here, 10 years). Try Monroe this time maybe. Just an idea, maybe someone that out that way regularly can chime in. Best of luck. Report back how you do please.
