I'm finding it is much harder to get the plastic to stay straight than I anticipated when adding the other materials. Definitely has potential.

Good looking jigs. Have you tried using a layer of thread on the hook shank and then glueing the plastic down?

Only once so far and it didn't help. I think I will need to build the front and then add the plastic. Really like the looks of the palmered feather on the plastic so far.

Thanks Les. Pouring plastic or lead is out side my comfort zone!

These are my first ties in quite a bit. My pups are not conducive to having tying supplies out.
