I increased the Lime juice a bit over 1/2 a cup and it really helped punch the Lime flavor up a notch.

mmmmmm yum , I had a pc. of a coconut cream pie and then a second one to take home that looked like its twin and to be sure of this , ain't put my teeth in a coconut cream pie that good in a VERY long time if ever ....
hard to not like a tall yummy cream pie for sure ....:cheers2

This pie has a Walnut Crust. I almost did a Pecan Crust but Walnuts are my wife favorite. I love Pecans over all nuts.

Looks awesome. I like a good strong key lime taste. Its been years since I had a real fresh one like yours...Instead of a birthday cake I get a frozen Key lime pie every year.. We eat it frozen.

So interesting you posted this today, I made a Key Lime Pie today for Christmas Dessert. We thought we ate too much dinner but a quarter of the pie is missing and we are both stuck to the Recliner now. Lol.
