Well what a tough day out yesterday during the tournament! Was sitting on the big fish I had located, around 12 in there Attachment 475820Attachment 475821 didn’t take pic of the log, with 8 mins till lines in the water I had a boat come by going down river and I sat there and watched all of them leave out. The little front that came through put the bigger fish I was on in lock down. They would just nick the bait and not commit. Don’t mind the fish not corporate but I broke two of my rods and missed twice as many as I caught. Talked to several other that had the same thang, the last 1/4 of the minnow would come back in with out any scales. Had fun and that’s the main thing. My 5 went only 7.3 something and 9.3 something for the classic. Congrats to all that that made the money and look forward to getting up to Weiss and the big G when they roll around. Darn. Better luck next time. You had fun and gave it a go… just never know. Good job.

Also forgot, could get out on the water Friday my jumper between my batteries came loose and had to re wire my trolling motor and all the wires for charger, all were scorched, got it done and all seems to be good now, thank goodness

Tried my backyard bream today with Berkley honey worms.After 35 degrees this am one mid size dummy from the clear as a.bell water.Fed a little food and after 10 minutes a few lackluster takers.Normally the quarter scoop would be gone in 3 minutes.Guess they are taking a winter vacation.
