Hey guys! I’m blessed to say this recovery has been much smoother for me than last time. Today is 3 weeks post surgery and I’m up to walking about 0.5 miles per day at a slow pace. Working hard to get my strength back but feeling great considering the circumstances! It will be another 3 weeks until I can drive and probably 6 weeks until i can fish, but I am so ready to tear em up! Now that I’m home, doing a lot of reading and day dreaming about crappie lol.Quote:

Good report and awesome news. So glad to hear you're doing well and recovery is going smooth. Wishing and praying things continue that way and for a speedy recovery. You will be back to feeling those thumps again soon.
Thank you for the update and good news. Been thinking about your situation and praying everyday. Really glad it's going good, and will continue in this direction. Will be praying for a full recovery without any complications. It wont be long and you'll be back slinging them crappie.

Great news, a friend had the same surgery and a pig valve probably 12 years ago. He is doing great, I believe you will do just as well :fish:fish
It's good to hear your recovery is going well. Keep at it and get ready to sling a few in the boat. (When the doc gives the OK... of course.)
