Ultralight jigs
I wanted something for drift fishing under a float for steelhead
and salmon. I came up with these. I can't find my scale but
I doubt they weigh 1/4 ounce combined. These are bigger
but I'll bet using the same technique will work for slow fall
presentations.

Left are 1/2 ounce size heads
Middle are 3/8
Right are 1/8
All of them are hot glue instead of lead. I wanted them to swing and sway in the current. So far no hookups but rivers had been low when I tried them.

found my scale, largest one is 1/10 ounce, 4 gr. Thats one a 5/0 hook
Total weight was .6 ounces.
I think a 1/16 or 1/32 jig head with the hot glue on a #2 or #4 hook in a worm pattern or a grub would float down mighty slow on a weed edge or by stumps and logs and entice some nice monsters to come out from hiding to eat em.

Never thought of using hot glue, great idea and nice looking jigs. Hope they do the trick for ya.
