Man I wish. The trolling motor situation is the real hold up. The dealer has 2 boats he has done and have been sitting there for over a month waiting on a trolling motor. I know one of those is waiting on an Ulterra, which is what I want also. I was out at Trout Magnet operation this past week to talk fishing and so on. Ran into a guy who is also waiting on an Ulterra for his Supreme trout boat. He was so frustrated he was having oar locks put on the boat.[emoji23] I’ll go over tomorrow to check on the status. While I would love to be over at Bald Knob looking for those shell cracker with this great fall weather I for sure will be ready for spring. But I’m sure I will be looking for them on good weather days through the winter. Meanwhile we are supposed to get some rain today which should put some much needed water in that little creek over at the park. I tell ya catching those 4-5 inch green sunfish are a lot of fun.

Thanks for the update.
I’m sure you’re anxious to get it on the water somewhere.
Those little green sunfish a keep me occupied for hours .
Every once in awhile something bigger will grab my jig as a bonus .
Hope it comes soon Randy. All dressed up and nowhere to go.
The motor is going on tomorrow and the SeaDek is due next week. The steps, sonar, Droto latch, all next week. But, and it is a big but, the Ulerra Quest series is expensive, to the tune of 3700$. If I was in Europe I could buy one from a multitude of stores. My thoughts on this is how a US based company would have Europe stocked up on those motors before the US. I just don’t understand that. But I’m going all in on the Quest. The whole unit has been beefed up significantly. It is 90/115 pounds of thrust. Twenty-Four volts gets you the 90 and thirty-six volts gets you the 115. The unit knows if you have 36 or 24. In my conversation with Minn Kota today the motors have shipped to dealers in US. In my searches today several dealers do have the Quest series just no one has the particular model I am after. So I’ll just wait until we get it. Minn Kota also told that while they are available at some vendors in the US they will not sell any off their own website for several months. Don’t understand the marketing but then again I’m not in business.

That’s one expensive trolling motor !
And that’s without the cost of the batteries to run it !
I’d almost bet the holdup in getting them here is due to customs .
I know , it’s got to be frustrating .
Thanks for the update
