I made a short trip Wednesday after work to Limestone. Water is down about 18 inches from full pool and 78 degrees. I caught 5 larger Crappie and numerous shorts all returned. Fish came off single poling isolated brush. Fish and shade are there but still thin, no evidence of a big fall move yet.
Hope to get out there soon before the gates close. The Mooresville gate should be open next week making for a easy put in and take out till the 15 th
Thanks for the report. Believe we are all waiting for that fall migration!! lol
Hoping my weather app is correct. According to it starting next Saturday the highs will be in the low seventies and lows in the low to mid forties.
