Sorry for not being very interactive lately ....
my plate is stacked high with vittles and it difficult to ingest all of it at the same time
, hunting in the fall distracts me , my wife distracts me , my job distracts me , and the list goes on, but the good news is even without a chance to ketch fish ....
and nothing but 2 feet under me and a truck to drive , I am still chasing the dream :Rofl
actually hit 2 locations on my lunch break yesterday , one was the long range under the bridge cast to em spot and the other about 15 minutes away was the dock I like to drop my jigs under .
2 things were rather apparent in my travels .....
white got bit best and .....
if it wasn't a jumpy presentation it wasn't get bit .....
the bite was better than the local reports would suggest for sure , but to be just as sure I don't pay much attention to they ain't biting anyway .....they are always biting ....rotfl
it is just a simple matter of finding the fish and getting them to think my jig is the real deal ...:cheers2
under a float in the river and pitching the jig at the lake ....bouncing the float was the key in the river channel and keeping it swinging by was the ticket on the brush tops under water at the dock .
pay no attention to reports and moon phases and what worked last week and stay after them when possible , a wet jig gets way more bites than a dry one .....
KABOOM is the word :cheers2
p.s. center btm image of the little black crappie off the dock was the best part of the travels , that little puppy hit my jig right on the surface at my feet !!
