we love summer time short water fish , good stuff

YouTube had this up first when I turned the channel on since I subscribed to Mikes page. Wife and I watched it last night. Mike makes it look just like Shooting Ducks on the Water with the split screen Livescope view. She looked at me kinda funny, I saw the question forming up in her mind, but as soon as it came out I deflected it away and said Panoptix does not show fish inside the structure like that. Her mind is telling her we are on the water playing a video game all day. She said it's Harvesting not fishing. I personally drop off into a Zen like trance, thinking of nothing but what the jig pole is communicating to my fingers, feeling the jig touch then slip around each limb, noticing almost remotely the weight of the jig change with the lift up as the crappie summer bite tells my subconscious to set the hook even before my conscious mind realizes I had a bite. It just does not happen that way for me while I'm looking at the screen. The last few years now once I get on structure I turn the transducer 90 degrees so my stick handle won't interfere with the hook set. The next Transducer Pole I make will have a folding handle as I'm never looking forward with the Panoptix, always looking left or right.
