It looks like a Blue Cat.
SCDNR - Fish - Species - Blue Catfish
He is black, and his belly looked like he had laid in a bowl of soot. Long whiskers on his chin. Just seemed weird looking. He looked like his body was a flathead long and lanky, and his head was blue. I see the forked tail, but I'm not a catfish fisherman. Thanks for the info.
