My Situation
Thought I would bring you up to date. I haven't been around for a while until last week, but there's a reason for that. Last Thanksgiving I was hospitalized with atypical pneumonia (not the usual kind) and AFib. I got a little better and was sent home. But I was back before Christmas for a week, more aFib etc, discharged, and back in again right after Christmas. I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. I was unable to swallow, had double vision, and several other lesser symptoms. Lost 61 pounds in about 3 1/2 months. Not recommended. I am now on Vyvgart which is a cycle of 4 infusions a week apart, wait 2 months (for me, everyone is different) and go back for 4 more weekly infusions indefinitely. I am selling some of my personal equipment such as a canoe, electric trolling motor, a couple of fish finders, etc because of balance problems, etc, and wife refuses to let me on the water alone anymore. I'm only 74! Luckily I have a friend who has a boat that I can fish with when I am able. So I'm down, but I ain't done yet! I am posting this mainly to say when you can't think of anything else to pray about, you can always pray for me. I don't think I would be here today without a ton of people praying for me. Thanks.
