Hot Louie

Back to Louis for another hot day. Tried my usual spots with no success. Found a tree top that extended under water at 10 feet, over 20 feet of water. Caught a couple small crappie from that. Tried some more spots, and finally found another limb like the first. Caught 5 or 6 from it, and called it a day. I changed jigs to a silver chenille with a little silver flashabou, and just a little bit of white marabou for the tail.

Boat did better with two new trolling motor batteries. I may need a new cranking battery also. The starter spins, but doesn’t engage the motor reliably. Always something! What does b o a t stand for?
