Quiet Lately

Haven't seen any recent reports of fishing outings. I have been getting out locally here and there for a couple of hours to various Montcalm Co lakes, usually taking home between just 5 to 15 good eaters per trip. With just my wife and I, we don't need more than that.

Still getting the crappie trolling jigs. It's fun figuring out what color works best on each lake. Last evening's outing was the first time I've lost more reeling in than I landed. Hopefully it was just a temporary result of non-aggressive biters.

I haven't been out for a few weeks, work is getting in the way during the week and I don't like going on the week ends if I can help it. Hopefully that changes soon.

Finally seeing the finish line on a couple of home projects, going to harty pond over the week probably will do a couple fishing trips
