Hot morning using same jig

Went back over to visit with my friends camped at Carter Cove today. Got there late and started fishing about 830 am but it was hot already. Flipped same Takeum jig used on last few trips. Boat flipped them with the Stryker rod. Caught good number but many were small Black Crappie. Was able to find enough descent White Crappie to keep a limit for my friends. Got so hot almost quit early but they wanted some fish so I stuck it out till almost 2pm. Hung around and they grilled some Chicken. Storms rolled through late and got a good rain which cooled things down. Looks like dog days of summer are arriving a little early this year.

Good job. Yuck for hot summertime, was in 80’s here and I thought that was to hot already.

It has been hot here also. Lots of storms rolling through as well

Yes they like to cook fish every other day while camped . Not been doing good . I gave them enough so far they froze 20 lbs of fillets and had fish to cook . Hope they did better today , I decided to take a rest myself .
