I bought a Dewalt one a couple of years ago with the intent on using it on the boat. It has yet to make it on the boat, but it is the handiest thing I have every bought when you need a little air moving but don't have easy access to power. Runs a surprisingly long time on a 5ah 20 volt battery. Only reason for choosing that brand is I already had those tools and batteries. Comes in handy when the power goes out for repairs at night. Keeps some air moving in the house
not me , just do it till I cant and then run for the ac ....just saying
Don’t remember the brand, but I used to use one I bought on clearance at wally world - it would run off the built in rechargeable battery, or 12v off a cigarette lighter plug. It was in the camping section. It helped a lot, especially with a cold wet towel draped over your neck. I’d keep 2 or 3 in the ice chest and swap em out.Quote:

Ha, that’s funny. Think I have seen a few of those heat monkeys but didn’t know what they were. Now I know.
When I was much younger I would jump in the water a couple times during the day and cool off. Fished 10 to 12 hours a day back then. I hardly go anymore if its hot or cold.
