I've had some luck fishing Six Mile creek during the winter months. I long lined from the bridge back to the mouth of creek. Your biggest problem in any of the creeks you mentioned is boat traffic. Unless you go on a weekday morning you will be swamped with jet skis, wake boats, ski boats and pleasure cruisers. Seems like everyone from up north is moving to NE Florida and buying a jet ski and boat.
6MM, thanks for the info. What about the tidal creeks up to the north of Jax...Loftin, Thomas, and the others that flow into the Nassau and St Mary's. rivers?
I don't know about the creeks north of Jax. If you fish Six mile, Trout of Julington they also have a tide. Best results if you longline or spider rig with the tide.
My son lives on Trout Creek but never said anything about catching any crappie.
