Just to be honest ....

Sometimes when I take a lunch break it don't go all that well on the ketchn program .
Last week I visited a spot that sometimes is a good spot , they have sprayed something on the vegetation and it was just loose dirt all the way down the embankment and to be sure I actually had to crawl up it leave .:yikes
That was coupled with a cross wind and just couldn't get dialed up on a long cast to the bridge columns in the wind very well and the fish were less than cooperative too .....might have got 3 bites , for sure got 2 bites and only hooked one small crappie ........:banghead
such is pitching a float in the river though , it is often a bit past easy and can result in very limited amounts of ketchn and lots more kastin instead .....:Rofl
no worries ,it was marked off my potential spots to visit in the near future rotfl
it was just that close to ....ZERO KABOOM ... that day :bash

Yes, sounds like that spot is a bust for awhile. Walking in the glow of sprayed poison isn’t the best feeling either….

one side as seen is concrete chunks all the way to the water , the side I use ,,,,WAS vegetation and easier to traverse , the plants looked pretty well toasted and it appeared to have been done a while back , just wow though , right on the river bank ...:banghead
then there ALSO is no doubt why you don't eat fish from the river too .....just saying

Yeah I'd stay away for awhile especially since you seem to have many other places to KABOOM

Sounds like a good place to not go back to for sure

likely come fall I will stop in there again , it has the potential to produce some dandy crappie , about not a single soul tries to ketch crappie in the river , it be ONLY me 99.9% of the time .

one thing about her is this , she knows I ain't all that bright sometimes and might do things that other folks would not , the good news is when I told her about that rather poor to say the least excursion and my had to sit down and crawl and about went down the slide in the loose dirt , she dint seem to be too excited one way or the other ...heck I think she actually chuckled ....but in the end ...
she was more concerned about the fact that I dint ketch but ONE lonely fish and was not all that happy bout it .....:yikesrotfl
