Kayak Trip Report, Swan Creek WMA

Work has kept me off the water the last couple months, but I finally found a little time today fishing from 9:30AM till around 1PM. I wanted to chase Crappie, but the full moon looked too good, so I went after a mixed bag at Swan Creek. I returned two larger Crappie and several shorts, but the Gills were on fire. I kept half a limit of Gills that were between 9 and 10 inches. Started with a small spinner and a 1" slider under a bobber. I was looking for a way to cull through to only catch larger fish, finally found the right combination with a 1 1/2 inch Rapala X-Rap in Silver. Pic later when I clean the fish.
