Diascund this weekend

I think I've been heading the wrong direction on Diascund. https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...2/16/1f606.pngBeen there several times recently, just trying to get a good feel for the lake, but it's slow going on a trolling motor. Takes a lot more time to motor over everything, so I'll just have to spend much more time out there this year. https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...2/16/1f60e.png I was hoping to get out there today, but it's not looking promising. A few things keeping me close to home today. So tomorrow will be new-water time. Going places I've never been, hoping to put some fish in the boat. Looking forward to meeting those coming to the event tomorrow morning.

Weather isn't looking so good this week end. 20 mph winds Saturday and rain Sunday. But good luck if you can go.

My battery barely made the 7 hour day. I was worried I wasn’t going to make it back to the ramp. That wind slowed me down a lot. Lost a few fish today, and only weighed in one for the tournament. Learned some lessons. I’ll be back at it again on a less windy day.
