I have always wanted to try making and using those fly jig hooks where you use those brass beads that slide over the point. I don’t know where to start! LOL
any help would be appreciated!

Slippery slope for sure. Jig hooks usually require slotted beads. There are charts to tell you what size beads should fit what size hooks. However, barb size and hooks that are extra heavy (thicker) will probably require a size larger. Good luck.
