a fun day

After doing a couple of chores, the wife says "go fishing" Bless her heart :heart. Well it is past noon thirty when I gets my old bones to the water. nice and sunny with a tolerable wind. Surface temp of about 74 degrees.
I goes to my first stop and decide to try a new to me color when BOOM a not yet full-grown bass decides to visit me.

well he musta told all hid buds that I was there because then nothing!
Not to be be discouraged I goes to another spot that has produced in times past. Well it is there I gets a visit from a nice fat gill!

Soon after I gets a tug on my line from another bass, that decides to take the jig off the line just as I start my swing to the boat. Was a feisty little creature.

After a bit of rain and with clouds promising more I decided it was time to go to the barn.
So, I can say I kept the skunk at bay, had an enjoyable time on the water. :fish
