Or at least those are my thoughts. I actually had some old battery powered tools in the garbage bin. Old 14 volt stuff where the batteries were bad and I did not want yet another battery type to keep charged. But I always keep my die hard charge pack ready. And I checked, these tools run fine off 12 volts. I simply spliced in these 12 volt connectors direct to the tools and bam, got a portable power tool set I can leave in the 5th wheel or just have as a backup. Yay me.
