Ride along
so in a previous post "the last ride" an old timer jig that has hammered well past it's born on date, got placed back into the water on my daughters micro set up.
Now mind you this , we were not actually after crappie ....:yikes
We were actually after bluegill and they REALLY didn't like the old jig ...:banghead
So she was not so happy since the bite was on until she lost her first set up.
The fish it seemed were not in the mood for the last ride jig at all and then .....
float DOWN and fight ON and she was in the I got a bass mode ....!
Next thing you know here comes a really large male red ear .....:cheers2
Next fish ...likely is mate ...yet another large red ear and it was a girl fish !
So keep this in mind about that , you just never know what the fish might bite and or not bite , both the sunfish were in the 12 inch range and quite heavy , pictures dont really do them justice , the wife was in the we need to measure them range and I was in the we need to get a picture or 2 and never mind walking back to the truck to document the darn fisheez ......:Rofl
KABOOM is the word ya"ll ....:Cowboy
p.s. thanks jamesdean , that jig was a million dollar winner my friend , it just don't get much better sir ....:cheers2

Those are some really nice ones for sure. Sounds Like your Miny Me, got a very nice surprise. I'm glad they worked out, and the Last Ride Jig was able to provide some excitement for you all. I'll be getting some supplies in in a week or so and I have
me of that chenille in the order. I'll see if I can get some down that way....
P.S. Thank you for the compliments on those Ketchn' Carrots...
