Sick of the Flooding!!

My home lake, where I live, Lake Nimrod in Arkansas is staying at flood stage. Probably all the way thru the spawn. We can still find a few fish but It gets old navigating the muddy, debris filled, water. I'm having trouble with my jackplate not going down. I think I'm going to take my boat in for this and a couple minor warranty issues also. Bad thing is the shop foreman told me they're running 3 weeks behind now. Oh well, lake's flooded and I have friends I can fish with until I get my rig back. Better get 'er done now.

This is the first time in years our local lakes have been at normal pool and we still continue to get rain. I would much rather have too much rain than having our lakes 5ft low. WE have a brand new lake that we are currently waiting to fill before they open it to the public. The more it rains the quicker that lake will fill.

Very true unless the water drops too quickly after the spawn leaving eggs high and dry. I know here on the Mississippi River high spring water that stays thru the spawn and egg hatching produces some of the best year classes of fish.
