Fixing to order some new treble hooks to replace some on my crankbaits. Just curious any particular brand or style hooks some of you prefer to use. Looking at Mustad or Hamamatsu. Trying to decide on round bend or EWG.

I like Gamakatsu hooks. I run a red round bend on the front and a EWG on the back

That is what I am thinking also.
I buy Eagle Claw red treble hooks ar Wal Mart
I do the same as buckeyecrappie. I would say any would be ok as long as they are RED
Slabmaster. Do you run the short shank EWG hooks. If so did go to one size larger hook
