what is the lightest jig that you will use?

I was thinking about working up some really light jigs, 1/64, 1/80 for bluegill. Does anyone on here go that light for crappie? I was thinking about the nice SLOW decent that they would have.

1/64....but have some 1/124 tied up. I use with larger weights though.

I tied some 1/64 jigs for bluegills but I could not keep the crappie off of them. It was a welcomed problem.

1/64th on a calm day.

A 1/2 gram is as low as I will go.

I carry 1/64 and 1/80 rarely use them but I do use them. I am confident if you can get them down to them in the strike zone they will take it. But it's so hard to angle accurately with our current.

I use long poles and flip baits out if needed but not a troller . Use 1/8 oz except when extremely deep or windy then 1/4 oz .

I sometimes use a 1/64 or 1/80 as a bottom jig with a 1/16 about 6 inches above it. Mostly vertical fish docks or backwater creeks with a 14 ft rod so I can control the drop.

1/64 or else I have to respool with lighter line and 6 lb mono is a bear with a 1/64 on the end at times too ....

Right now 1/64 is my smallest. I think I might like to try a 1/80 size 8 or 10.
