Evelyn and I made the 3hr trip to Baker Creek State Park boat ramp yesterday. Long lined LoneCane creek area above the bridge to a little past the boat ramp there. Caught 13 brought home 12. 3 were 13”+ It took a while to find some crappie but we finally did. They were right by the junction of the two channels in 16fow. Chartreuse and black/green were favored. Tried a Rockport rattler and caught several on it! When Evelyn got into the striper it was awesome, hearing her laughing and then hollering “Oh my gosh babe it’s going crazy!” What a hoot. She did a great job of keeping it away from the other lines so no tangled lines. Just a blessed day with my sweet wife.
