Wiring a 12/24v 4 prong receptcal.

Even though it is a 12/24 volt plug, I only want to hook up the 24v side, but the plug has four places for wires. On the left side, on the back it has a A+ for a wire and on the same side at the top it has a B- for a wire.

Then on the right side at the top it has a A- for a wire and then below it has a B+. I pretty sure I know how to wire it just for 24volts, but I rather pick one of you more knowledgeable peope's brain.

Do I wire it A+ for the red wire and B- for the black wire?

It doesn't matter which terminals you use, as long as (+) and (-) wires match when connected. If your above description makes the best sense for you that will work.

I would start by checking if your TM plug has to be connected in a certain direction, alignment tab or something, and then match which terminals you use to the connection points that match your plug.

If you are running straight 24 volt all you need is two wires from the batteries. Positive wire from one battery and negative wire from second battery. You will then need a short cable to run from neg. to positive post tying these together to make 24 volts up front. in short you are eliminating 2 of the 4 wires going up front as they are no longer needed in a 24 volt system.
