Monday Meet up 03-06-23
Met up with my fishing buddy around 11:15 this morning and someone was already fishing the ramp we usually start on , so it was off to another ramp that was 25 minutes away .
We fished two boat ramps and I caught two bluegill, a couple of redbreast , five green sunfish and three spotted bass .
Two of the bass made the trip , putting up a good battle on my 6’3” Abu Garcia Mass Beat rod paired with a Daiwa Fuego LT 1000d and 2# P-line Fluorocarbon.
All were caught on 1/64 Trout Magnets .
I used several colors today including Rootbeer float , that attracted the larger spot .
My fishing buddy caught two bluegills and a couple of green sunfish.
I keep thinking, eventually he’ll break down and try a trout magnet . I keep wearing him out using them . :) .
A fun few hours of fishing .

Nice fish. Got to where I look for your weekly reports. Of course out here in Arkansas the whole population of the state has heard of Trout Magnet. The wife and I went to Bald Knob this weekend for some fine Cajun food and I ran upon this bait shop….in a town of about 2500 folks. Notice the banner in the window.

Thanks Randy !
I’d thought about changing my call name from gillchaser to PanfishMagnetMan . LOL!
Just kidding , but I’m gaining more and more confidence in the TM .
I’ve got to where I just carry one of the small magnet kits in a pocket instead of a tackle bag .

That’s a good catch, but even better is seeing you out with no jacket. Glad the better weather finally gave you a break. I too enjoy these weekly meeting posts.

A great looking catch, and you’re sure right about the TMs. They’re about 99% of what I use.
