Nice lake. Lochloosa Harbor on US 301 is a nice place to launch. It has a bait and tackle shop as well as a lunch diner during peak season. The lake has had some problems this year. I heard there was a bad algae bloom this last summer. No fish kill but it did throw the fishing off. They are still catching specs but not the numbers the lake is accustom to. Hope that helps.
