The thread work is fun to me while it offers alternative ways to add eye catching features.
It definitely takes more time and effort when tying but the end result is satisfying to my eye and fishes well.

That is a great jig. Please send me two as I am a Cleveland Browns life long fan and those are my favorite colors. Please PM me your response. You know Chaunc is a Pittsburg Steeler fan and he might be a tad jealous when I catch a 2 lb Crappie on this jig.

Mike, its actually a dark olive and orange. Yellow perch is one of the main forage species here in Michigan. Everything eats them, including me when they get bigger!
