Although today(Feb 2nd) is officially in the books as GroundHog Day, I'd like to cast my vote for yesterday(Feb 1) as AquaPIG Day! Attachment 448482Attachment 448483 Thankfully blessed with back to back days of absolutely Perfect-conditions and another Florida limit of 25, it's in the books as the day AquaPig saw his shadow(I did) and we'll be experiencing SIX MORE WEEKS of Florida's Best Crappie Action! Chunky 15"r(unfortunately no scale) was the nicest Speck I've netted in some time! Also included in the day's catch was a trophy(for Florida's measure), an American Shad of 18 1/4"(tip to tip).Attachment 448484Attachment 448485 Single, Underspins(1/16) w/curlytails were the ticket du jour again and no real color-preference was seen.
