The Tchefuncte River

Feeshed my fav o rite river today. Conditions were perfect.

Water wiz a little low and looked like chocolate milk. Just a little wind early, picked up after lunch.

Launched at the Hwy 22 bridge and worked my way up river. Hit bout a dozen spots and finally got bit just south of the I12 bridge. These feesh were in 6-8 feet of water. Kept 3 and threw back 6. Some little goggle eyes bit too.

Hit a another spot and added four more to da box. Dat wuz it. Very few boats out today.

Congratulations on a fine outing

Tough out there with the cold shock. I'm surprised y'all have fish that shallow. I will be fishing 15-18ft the next few days, it's Hammer Time around here. You're right about competition too, most likely I will be the only one out there.
