If I remember right Skip had once told me you could steam lightly the chenille and help bring it back to shape. Might want to check with him for sure.

I hang mine up and let them relax and unwind. That way you don’t end up with a tangled mess.
It wastes a small bit of material, but I usually cut mine into 2 to 3 ft lengths to keep them more manageable when wrapping.

Another vote for steaming some to find out what’s gonna happen when it gets wet anyway. Top one looks big
Its easy to steam that chenille! I just take a pot on the stove top and a little water on high, let it start boiling crazy, then I hold it across the pot and let it dip into the steam and keep moving as you don't want it to really get wet, but it will start twisting and it will come back like new! Never let it get into the water!
