Final trip before deep freeze, 12/22/22
Dr Phil and I hit the tailwaters once last time this morning before the predicted low tonight of 9 degrees and about 4 days and nights of bitter cold for our area. It was our best fishing day in two weeks.
Stripers, White bass, and Walleyes in abundance and we had to stop at 10:30 because of other obligations. 3/8 oz jigs with plastic swimbaits. 36,800 cfs and 51.4 water temp. The largest Striper was 15 pounds even and largest Walleye was 21” long. Much fun. I don’t think that we had a fish less drift.
