Any of you use a Dewalt or Milwaukee Lithium battery to power your livescope? Would seem like this would be a simple and less expensive way to power Livescope. Or have I been watching too much YouTube?

I started to use the Dewalt set up to power my LVS34, but I ended up going with the Amped 48AH battery instead!
I do use the Dewalt setup to power my Helix 9 and Garmin 73SV used up front and at the console! My only fear on using the Dewalt on my livescope was the fear of not having enough batteries to keep me going all day! If you look at the cost of a 6AH Dewalt battery, you can get the Amped 48 for the price of about 3 of the Dewalt!
Sounded like a no brained to me! Hope this helps.

I do. I built a small power supply using two Milwaukee battery adapters wired in parallel. Then it feeds straight 20v to the panoptix, and has a 12v voltage controller to put 12v to the head unit.
You better have a stack of larger batteries, I do which why I went this way. If you do not, it is much cheaper and easier to buy a lithium 12v.
I considered it, but was afraid that at some point I would either forget to grab the batteries when I left, or forget to take them out and charge them. I wanted to use the 12v Milwaukee batteries since I have a bunch of them.
So I bought a lithium instead and charge it with a Noco onboard, pretty hassle free.
I thought about using my Milwaukee and Dewalt batteries, but they are near needing replaced. Searching online I found a 12-7.5 AH battery and charger at walmart for $22. Something strange about the search. I found it by entering game feeder battery. Searching battery or lithium battery it didn't show.
I picked up the battery on Wednesday, Thursday night at the auction house I got a 12-18AH battery for $7.
Unless you have several drill batteries already . Look at buying a 32ah or larger lithium battery. I have Amped Outdoors 32ah and it came with a charger . Been using over 2 years and run 1242xsv and black box all day .
