Oh Lordy!

Got myself into alittle pickle earlier today,,,,I was tying some treble hooks and putting on the hackle feathers and flash when I stopped and reached over top of the vise and felt a sharp pain in the underside of my forearm all of a sudden,,,at first I thought to myself,,,” no big deal, it’s just alittle superglue stuck to my hairy arm”. So I pull alittle and the pain increases to wear I want to either wet my pants or shed alittle tear…I suddenly think to myself,,,” self”. This is either going to hurt alittle or hurt a lot!” Then I rethought my plan,,,if I pull it the wrong way, it will go deeper,,,,dummy,,,,So at this point, its starting to hurt a lot just in the one place,,,I can’t see the hook and which ways its going in,,,,so ,,,I can’t push or pull without one of those answers becoming wrong,,,, So I thought one more time,,and yell out,,,,Help! I call to my wheelchair bound wife with one hand,,She says,,Just a minute honey,,,I’m coming…..she looks at me like she always does and says as she always does, and says “ Hacker” What the hell have you done now? I look at her with puppy dog eyes and say,, pla pla pla please save me,,,lol,,,,which way is the hook going in? She says this way,,,I ask again,, you sure? She said again,,, this way! Dam I would have been Wrong! That would had been one painful mistake I thought to myself,,, So I take her word and with One Quick Jerk! Pop,,,it comes out… thank God! Now I remember why hate treble hooks so much,,,Because of the
pain they cause me. lol,,, Don’t do as Takeum does! Don’t be a Hacker!

Dang man, hate that. I know that must of hurt. Good thing is a little super glue will stop the bleeding….lol

Sure beats the swann dive to took off my boat onto my concrete drive this past summer,,, I knocked myself out good that time,,,

Ouch! Glad y’all got it out. I missed the ladder coming off my boat this spring and did some wierd twist midair to miss a side mirror on my wife’s car and Splat. Lil darlin said it was a site to see.

Bumbles don’t bounce like we used to Buckeye,,,lol

Glad you were able to work that out! My friend was helping his son with his fly casting a couple months ago and ended up with a big salmon fly stuck in his head. He wouldn't let them cut the hook because it was such a nice fly! Did get it out though.

If it were me. Cut the hook! I will display the fly if I like it so much
